General Tony Thomas, the commander of the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) based in Tampa, Florida, spoke for over an hour about the current fight against terrorism and the use of special operations forces around the world. Watch this one hour video of his speaking engagement at the Aspen Security Institute on July 21, 2017. Very informative hour! And Tony seems to have an excellent sense of humor. Good looking uniform too. Didn’t seem to be that awful blue all the other generals are wearing.
