Blackbeard’s Ride 2018 – this fundraising event will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018. The event includes a motorcycle ride, BBQ, entertainment, and raffles. The event begins at the Bourne Veteran’s Memorial Community Building in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts. It ends at the Plymouth, Massachusetts VFW.

SSG Matthew A. Pucino, United States Army Special Forces, died in Afghanistan on November 23, 2009. His family established the SSG Matthew A. Pucino Memorial Foundation, Ltd. to assist wounded military heroes.

The foundation has conducted a number of successful fundraising events to benefit wounded service members. In March 2018 the foundation held the Night of Excellence in Boston, Massachusetts raising funds for wounded veterans. The Blackbeard’s Ride 2017 held in July last year attracted thousands of participants and spectators.
