A SOCEUR helicopter task force composed of Army National Guard aviation units from Colorado, Kansas and Utah has completed a months long rotation in Europe. The SOCEUR helicopter task force supported the special operators of Special Operations Command Europe as well as special operations forces from NATO allies.
Training conducted by the aviation task force included insertion techniques, military free-fall, static line parachutes drops, fastroping and other helo insertions. In addition, training in nine-line medical evacuations took place.
